Minnesota Assassin’s Letter Accuses Gov. Tim Walz in Shocking Claims

A bombshell letter allegedly written by Vance Boelter, the suspect in the June 14, 2025, Minnesota shootings, has been released, making explosive accusations against Governor Tim Walz. The handwritten, one-and-a-half-page document, addressed to FBI Director Kash Patel, claims Walz instructed Boelter to assassinate U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar to clear a path for Walz to run for her Senate seat. Boelter, 57, is charged with murdering former House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, and wounding Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, in a politically motivated attack.

The letter, described as rambling and incoherent, also alleges Boelter was trained “off the books” by the U.S. military and that Walz threatened his family if he refused to comply. Boelter claims he warned Walz he would go public, prompting further threats. Authorities found the letter in a Buick abandoned near Boelter’s Green Isle home, alongside a hit list naming dozens of Democrats, including Walz, Klobuchar, Senator Tina Smith, and Representative Ilhan Omar.

Walz’s office has denied the allegations, with spokesperson Teddy Tschann calling the tragedy “deeply disturbing” and expressing gratitude to law enforcement. The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office stated there is no evidence supporting Boelter’s claims against Walz. Boelter, a former appointee to a state workforce board under Walz and Governor Mark Dayton, faces federal charges of murder, stalking, and firearms offenses, alongside state charges of second-degree murder.

The letter’s release has fueled speculation, with some questioning Boelter’s mental state and others demanding further investigation. As Minnesota reels from the violence, the document intensifies debates over political rhetoric and accountability, leaving the public grappling with the motives behind one of the state’s deadliest political attacks.
